As part of Play Tennis 2000, an initiative run by the Lawn Tennis Association, members of Braintree Lawn tennis Club were generating interest in the sport at George Yard on Saturday.

Children were given the challenge of serving a ball through the gap in Henry the Holes racket.

Mike Fowler, coach at the club said: "This is a part of a big push to get more teenagers interested in the game.

"For the survival of the game we need to interest more players."
