Clacton Town manager Steve Dowman has boosted his squad by signing AFC Sudbury centre-back Richard Codling.
Codling started his career at Cornard United before moving to Sudbury where he played for 13 years.
The 32-year-old said: "After seeing first hand the ambitions, enthusiasm and professionalism of the club and players alike, I decided I wanted to be part of it.
The Seasiders' first team are looking for an away pre-season friendly on July 29 after Haverhill Rovers cancelled a match.
