Memories of cricketing matches past were the order of the day last week as Harold Park Cricket Club staged a reunion of players who have represented the club over its 75 year history.
Harold Park's Derek Fenton, who was born in the year that the club was formed (1925), said: "It was a great day, and it was good to meet up with old cricketing friends again."
The reunion was held at South Weald Cricket Club, as Harold Park do not have their own clubhouse and Mr Fenton added: "We are grateful to South Weald for the use of their excellent facilities, and their hospitality was second to none."
Pictured at the reunion are some of those players who have represented Harold Park CC, and in the foreground is Derek Fenton (left) and Gerry Marwood, who have both served as captains of the club.
