Mark Venus and Richard Naylor have been ruled out of Ipswich Town's pre-season tour to the Baltic States.
The injury-plagued pair delayed surgery at the end of last season so they could star in Town's 4-2 play-off final triumph against Barnsley.
Defender Venus underwent an operation on his an ankle while striker Naylor - who scored at Wembley - faced surgery to clear up tendonitis in both knees.
Both are back in training but neither are deemed fit to play in Finland, Latvia and Estonia.
Youngsters Titus Bramble and Richard Logan have been drafted into the squad instead.
