Stock Brook Manor Golf Club Seniors section has achieved further success in reaching the semi-finals of the Essex Seniors Team Trophy.
The composition of the Team Trophy is that clubs affiliated to the Essex County Amateur Golf Union can enter teams of 12 players into a knockout competition.
This being the first year of the competition, a total of 25 clubs entered, with teams stretching from Harwich to Nazeing.
To have reached this stage is no mean achievement, and there are now hopes of progressing to the final, which is scheduled to be played at Benton Hall Golf Club, near Witham, on September 25.
