Visitors to Wivenhoe Town last night (Wednesday) had a surprise treat - an appearance from Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's younger brother.

Carlos is on trial at Norwich City and turned out in the two teams' entertaining 2-2 draw - an appearance that also brought a visit to Broad Lane of the Sky Sports television cameras.

Norwich went ahead early on but the Dragons fought back and scored well-orchestrated goals through Jimmy Clewley and Kevin Hughes.

Hasselbaink's equaliser on the stroke of half-time completed the scoring and what was a fair result.

For Wivenhoe there were encouraging displays from new signings Robbie May, Simon Gray and George Fowler, while talisman striker Julian Hazel also looked sharp.

Co-manager Steve Pitt said: "For a first match it was ideal for us.

"Norwich sent a very young, fit side but I thought we played well."
