Sick and injured children being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital are set to benefit from this happy shopper's stroke of luck.
Jo Puffett, of Glenmere, Vange, entered a prize draw at the Tesco Extra store in Pitsea whilst she was doing her weekly shopping and won herself a brand new car.
She is overjoyed with her prize - an £11,000 navy blue Skoda Fabia - and plans to sell her old E-registration Metro.
The money she makes from the sale will be donated to the hospital as a thank you for the treatment it gave her seven-year-old son Adam.
The youngster spent two months in the children's hospital last year after being hit by a car.
Jo said the staff there were "fantastic".
Jo, 47, is married to Colin and has five children, Jessica, 18, Leon, 14, Royden, ten, Dean, 12, and Adam, seven.
Keys of success - Jo Puffett was all smiles with son Adam, seven, Tesco's Marcus Allan, left, Prince Avenue Service Station sales manager Maurice Garner and Jo's husband Colin, right
