The visit of Premiership West Ham to Braintree tonight (Friday) is the highlight of the local pre-season friendly programme this weekend.
The east Londoners have promised to send a strong side to Cressing Road for the clash, which could see a number of familiar faces turn out.
For the Iron, home supporters will have a chance to see eight new faces in the shape of Tommy Noble, Danny Stanley, Dean Mahoney, Martin Jobson, Dean Kelly, Josh Leek, Terry Howard and Paul Adolphi.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm.
Elsewhere tonight there is a local derby at Halstead's Rosemary Lane ground when Wivenhoe are the visitors.
Tomorrow there is a local derby at Harwich and Parkeston when Stanway Rovers are the visitors.
Witham entertain St Neots while Tiptree are visited by Harlow.
