Prince Charles visited Essex on Thursday to officially open a restored Victorian kitchen garden.
The walled garden, at Audley End, the home of the Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Lord Braybrooke, has been restored by English Heritage and the Henry Doubleday Research Association.
The work took nine years and the Prince of Wales was able to see how the fruit and vegetables are produced today using traditional methods combined with the latest developments in organic gardening.
