Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a patient who walked out of Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, on July 3 and has apparently not been seen since.
There are fears for the safety of the man, 40-year-old Krzyswtof Duzniak.
Mr Duzniak, who is single, has family in the Braintree area.
Anyone who sees him is asked to contact Chelmsford police on 01245 491212.
