Southend Ambulance pulled off a rare win when they beat Trinity in the Sirco Southend Evening Cricket League.
Batting First, the Ambulancemen scored 105 from their 12 overs and restricted ten-man Trinity to 70 in their reply.
In Division One, Terry Hammond Snr shined as Shoebury Park strolled to victory in a double-header with Rayleigh Fairview.
Hammond Snr took 3-26 as Rayleigh were held to 72-6, with only McKenna (21 not out) finding any answer to the bowling.
Jim Cousens led the reply, scoring an unbeaten 30 as Shoebury eased home at 74-1 from only 5.5 overs.
Rebus won a close encounter with Civic Centre thanks to a knock of 39 from Adams in a total score of 126-4.
Civic made a brave reply with D White hitting an excellent unbeaten 58, but they ultimately fell 12 runs short at 114-2.
In Division Two, Mark King (43) led the way as Aviation racked up 113 in a winning effort against Chequers.
Cornwell hit 30 in Chequers' reply, but good bowling from Mark Homer (3-24) saw them fall behind the run rate and they ended on 94-7.
Premier Division leaders Rochford, who suffered a reverse against nearest challengers Prittlewell, next face another tough encounter against Trinity.
