Seven soccer fans will appear before magistrates following clashes between Southend and Brighton fans.
The men were arrested following the opening match of the season between the rival teams at Roots Hall.
A Brighton supporter was also arrested after allegedly running onto the pitch during the game.
They will appear at Southend Magistrates Court on Tuesday on public order offences.
