Cranston Park's men's team currently jointly lead the Essex Senior League Division two with fellow challengers Brentwood Hard.

Both teams have 25 points from four matches at the midway point in the programme, and both will be hoping to retain their positions to clinch promotion.

Gidea Park's second team are in fourth place, while their first team, the 1999 division one champions, will be hard pushed to retain their title as they trail Essex Club by nine points, and have played one match more.

In mens division three, Cranston Park II lead with 50 points with Billericay close behind on 47.

Brentwood Lawn's second team are the leaders of division five, 18 points in front of second placed Redbridge II.

Brentwood Lawn IV are in second place in division nine just behind Nortel, while Gidea Park lead ladies division one and have already clinched the title with 115 points from five matches.

Cranston Park are third with Billericay in fourth place.

Billericay II lead Cranston Park III at the top of division five, and Brentwood Lawn II occupy second spot in division six.

In the ladies veterans league, Billericay lead division two while Grosvenor are the leaders of division four.

Brentwood Lawn II are on top in men's veterans division three with Cranston Park II third.

The league finishes at the end of September.

Clearview holds the latest of its Summer Camps of the school holidays on Wednesday, August 30 and and Thursday, August 31.

The camps provide coaching from one of the Clearview professional coaches. It starts at 10am and runs until 3pm with lunch included in the cost of £15 for Brentwood residents and £18 for non residents.
