Hospital Radio Chelmsford (HRC) is attempting to break the world record for the longest continuous radio programme by a single presenter.
Greig Daines has been chosen to host the two-day marathon on September 7 and 8, which aims to beat the current record of 40 hours.
HRC, which provides entertainment to the patients of St John's and Broomfield Hospitals, is looking for medical personnel and independent adjudicators to help out with the task.
