A top Para has died on holiday.
The senior officer, due to command the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment which moves to Colchester next month, died of a suspected heart attack.
Lieutenant Colonel David Limb, 39, who was married with a daughter, was out running near their holiday home in the Dordogne in France, when he collapsed.
He had just taken control of 3 Para on August 4 and the battalion is due to move into its new home in Colchester Garrison in September.
