The former lawyer of Reggie Kray today described the former gangster, who died on Sunday, as a "fun guy".

Harwich-based solicitor Trevor Linn, 35, said: "He (Reggie) was a fun guy, he had a very good sense of humour. He was a nice bloke, an ordinary bloke and certainly not what people expect.

"He was nice and very good fun when ever I went to meet him."

Mr Linn and his company Linn and Associates took over the Kray case for release from prison in February 1997.
