Detectives from a national crime-busting unit arrested three men and seized half a tonne of drugs in Basildon - with an estimated street value of £1 million.
In joint operation with HM Customs and Excise, detectives from the National Crime Squad, swooped at 11am yesterday morning (Monday) on a van and car as they left a compound near a farm in Old Church Hill, Langdon Hills.
Three men have been held for questioning at Basildon police station.
