Two local Schweppes Essex Senior League clubs stage entertaining County Cup second round games this evening.

Southend Manor take on Burnham Ramblers at Southchurch Park, while Concord Rangers are in action against East Ham.

Visitors to Thames Road will get the chance to see Hammers' scoring sensation Steve Grant in action. He's already notched eight goals to lead the Senior League's scoring charts and has helped his side to their best start to a season for years - they currently stand third.

His performances have also led to Grant earning a call-up for the Barbados squad to take on Guatemala in a World Cup qualifying tie - continuing the magnificent tradition Hammers have for unveiling top quality players.

There are three matches in the Southend Wednesday League tomorrow with the Southend derby between the Police and the Postmen topping the bill.

This game is at Eastwoodbury Lane, while Rochford Rec is the setting for the Lodgers v Isikgun United clash. Basildon Police meet Upminster LUL at the Ford Sports Ground.

The Eastwoodbury game kicks-off at 2pm and the other games 30 minutes later.
