First Great Eastern is increasing daily travelling seats on its trains in Essex by 1,000 for the winter and Braintree and Ingatestone are to be among the big gainers.
The 5.20pm train to Braintree is to become a 12-coach supertrain to Witham and off peak there will be more stops to Braintree Freeport.
Ingatestone is also to benefit from extra stopping trains.
