The headteacher of a failing primary school has been suspended because of weak management and leadership skills.
A letter has been sent to parents of Doggetts Primary and Nursery School to inform them Mark Waudby has been suspended from his post with immediate effect.
Essex County Council is now set to carry out a thorough investigation into his ability to provide the leadership and management the school needs.
Doggetts in The Boulevard, Rochford, was inspected by Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education) last November and was put on special measures in January.
