A huge power cut blacked out 6,000 homes in north Essex and south Suffolk.
Thousands of customers were without power for just over half an hour at 11am on Tuesday morning but about 60 were blacked out for more than six hours because of an underground cable fault.
Homes affected were in Dedham, East Bergholt, Ardleigh, Manningtree, Brantham, Foxash, Lawford and parts of Colchester.
A spokeswoman for electricity company 24/7 said: "The fault was on the 11,000-volt network in Dedham."
