A Braintree man believes he has found more evidence that big cats such as pumas are roaming the Essex countryside.
John Hancock, of the Essex Big Cat Research Project, is excited by the discovery of muntjac deer remains at Earls Colne.
A woman contacted police after she had found the deer in Earls Colne at the weekend.
John said: "She had walked the same route the night before and there was nothing there. Only a big cat could do that. ''
