Breeze AM has been bought by Classic Gold Digital- which is part owned by new Essex FM owner GWR.
The deal, officially rubber-stamped yesterday (Thursday), included the purchase of a Breeze station in Sussex.
Classic Gold Digital was recently formed to take over the two stations. It is 80 per cent owned by London-based UBC and 20 per cent owned by GWR, which has taken over Essex FM.
Tim Blackmore, joint founder of UBC Media Group, said: "We hope to announce our plans for the station in the next few weeks. We hope to continue operating from the same building as Essex FM."
