Braintree Salvation Army is once again providing a full festive meal with turkey and trimmings on Christmas Day for anyone who wishes to join them at their Rayne Road centre.

The meal will be provided free of charge and a special "turkey on wheels service" will also be available to Braintree and Bocking residents who are not able to come to the hall.

People who live in Braintree or Bocking can be picked up by friends of the Salvation Army and taken home again, and guests from further afield are also welcome if they can make their own travel arrangements.

Home helps, carers, wardens and neighbours who know someone who might like a meal are asked to contact David and Cathy Mann on 01376 323539, Tim and Sam Johnson on 01376 322143 or Tony and Margaret Dodd on 01376 323777.

Anyone who would like to help deliver the meals is asked to contact David Mann.
