Southend's mayor and mayoress swapped one set of robes for another for a charity ball. Graham Longley went as Henry VIII while his wife Maureen was Anne Boleyn.
Proceeds from the mayor's event at Cliffs Pavilion will fund defibrillator machines to give heart attack victims immediate help.
