A bus carrying a group of schoolchildren was involved in a crash in Little Oakley.
The vehicle they were travelling in was in collision with a van. Eight children were hurt in the accident, just after 8.30am today (Monday).
The students were on their way to Colchester High School and St Benedict's College in Colchester.
Firefighters were called to the crash on the B1414.
The van driver had managed to free himself from his overturned vehicle.
