Three-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer Connor Simpson will be one of the beneficiaries of a 12-hour sponsored darts marathon.
Ten members of the ladies and men's darts teams at the Royal pub in Dovercourt will take to the oche on Saturday.
One of the aims is to raise enough money for a climbing frame for Connor - whose mother Lauren is a friend of organiser Dyan Welch.
Connor, of Mayes Lane, Ramsey, has difficulty using his right hand due to his condition. The idea is for him to learn how to use his hand and arm better by using the frame.
The Essex Air Ambulance will also benefit from the day's proceeds.
Miss Welch, who is organising the event, said: "Connor suffers from cerebral palsy and the money is mainly to help them help him."
Connor's mother, Lauren, said: "His physio suggested a climbing frame to help and he's got to hold on to that with two hands and it will stretch his arm a bit."
Supporters are welcome to visit the Main Road pub throughout the day.
Already around £600 has been pledged, with other events on the day hoping to add to the total. The marathon will begin at 11am and continue until closing time.
