Detectives are hunting a bogus social worker after she struck for the second time in a week in Basildon claiming to be carrying out a survey on children.
Police issued warnbings after a woman posing as a social worker visited the Felmores estate.
Yesterday (Monday) in Langford Grove a woman, saying she was from the health authority, knocked at a home claiming to be carrying out a TV survey on toddlers.
