Brave Cassey Rowe will be investing in some big woolly hats after having her head shaved for charity.
The 36-year-old admitted she was feeling a bit chilly in the wintry weather after the treatment at the Culpepper Club, in Gardiners Lane South, Basildon.
Cassey, who also lives in Gardiners Lane South, said: "I had lots of people watching me having it done and they were all cheering.
"It was really funny watching their faces - I think they thought I wouldn't go through with it, but I did. It feels very strange to have no hair, and a bit cold."
Cassey's new hair style raised £766 for the Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund.
