Colchester United's injury-plagued central defender Ross Johnson is set to make a long-awaited comeback.
Johnson is preparing to play for the first time in six months in one of the U's reserve games this week.
Johnson was upbeat about his imminent comeback. He said on Thursday: "I can't wait to get back. I am sick and tired of not being able to play football.
"It has been six months since I last kicked a ball in anger and the frustration has been unbearable at times."
