Former Southend United and Chelsea striker Bill Garner is offering parents the chance to do their last-minute Christmas shopping in peace.
For his "Sport Action" organisation are staging a Festival of Football, to be run by qualified coaches and open to children aged between eight and 14.
The course runs from 10am on Thursday December 21 until 3pm on Friday December 22 at Shoebury Boys Elm Road ground and the cost for two days is £20.
Those participating should bring a packed lunch, and be equipped with appropiate clothing - tracksuits, outdoor footwear and shin pads.
