The ladies veteran teams of Gidea Park and Brentwood Lawn finished in third and fourth places respectively in Division One of the Essex Veteran League.
In Division Two Billericay were runners up to Grove with Brentwood Lawn II sixth, and Mountnessing were third in Division Three.
Gidea Park were runners-up in Division One of the Mens League while Mountnessing were fourth in Division Two.
Brentwood Lawn second team were third in Division Three, while in Division Four, Hutton & Shenfield missed out on the title by just one point and were runners-up.
In the mens over 55 division Billericay were runners-up to Great Baddow.
n The Essex County Nine and Under Mini Tennis tournament was held at Hornchurch with Gemma Vango from Upminster winning the girls event.
In the final she beat Annie Dunn from Brentwood 7-5.
Jonathan Bishop from Billericay was a semi-finalist in the boys event.
