Only one South-East Essex Sunday League game beat the weather with Castle Point United taking advantage of Simco having to field a weakened side due to injuries to pull off a 10-0 win.
Daniel Godfrey grabbed a hat-trick and Darren Godfrey scored two. Hogg (2), Hunt (2) and Gills completed the rout.
Two teams from the League won through the fourth round of the Essex Sunday Junior Cup. Crouch saw off the challenge of Orsett Green to the tune of 5-1 with Crickmarr (4) and Lynam getting the goals.
Wickbeech defeated Quliters 4-1 thanks to Stokes, Bird, Buckland and Barbieri.
