Talented students from Thurrock College have been working their way to the top of the television industry.
James Datlen and Rory Marks, spent an exciting four days at Lakeside Shopping Centre obtaining work experience from Talent TV, whilst Hannah Cox, a full-time media make-up student was employed to provide all the make-up for a series of television adverts for Flora Pro-active.
The boys, who are both studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion and Clothing, were involved in all areas of production including camera work, for the programme Sky Talent Booth currently being filmed across the country and due to be broadcast on Sky One in the near future.
"It was a great experience and we have made many useful contacts for our future careers," said Rory.
Hannah, responsible for the entire cast's hair and make-up for the adverts shot at various locations in Brighton, even found time to appear as an extra.
Her college tutor, Jane Austin said: "I am extremely proud of Hannah in getting this fantastic opportunity to use her talent.
"The course at Thurrock College is specifically designed to help students pursue careers in the media and advertising industries and Hannah's experience will help her achieve this goal."
