A man accused of murder has been released on bail by Colchester magistrates.
Lee Smith, 21, of Seymour Road, Clacton, is accused of murdering Justin Chant at Guy Wright House, in Byng Close, Thorpe le Soken.
The alleged murder is said to have taken place sometime between October 1 and November 20.
Smith, who had been remanded in custody until Thursday, is also accused of concealing a body between the same dates.
After the hearing at Colchester Court, Smith was released on conditional bail for seven weeks.
Mickala Wrenn, 20, of Ford Road, Dagenham, made her first appearance before magistrates yesterday facing a charge of concealing a body to prevent inquiries being made into the cause of Mr Chant's death between October 1 and November 20.
Wrenn was released on conditional bail until January 19, 2001.
A third person, Stephen Sullivan, 39, of Byng Close, Thorpe le Soken, is accused of concealing or disposing of a body to prevent inquiries being made into the cause of death.
Sullivan was remanded in custody until December 21.
Mr Chant's body was found in a cupboard in a flat in Thorpe le Soken. A post mortem examination has failed so far to establish the cause of death.
