A giant chocolate sculpture is being devoured by lucky children from a Colchester school.
When dad Shaun Gravett won the raffle for the chocolate statue of landmark Jumbo, he decided to donate it to Stanway Fiveways Primary School.
But this gesture may not have made him too popular with his son Joshua, nine, who now has to share the creation with his school mates.
The sculpture stood in the window of specialist chocolate shop Minerva in Eld Lane and was raffled off in aid of the Poppy Appeal, raising £650.
Mr Gravett, a chef, of Collingwood Road, Lexden, said the plan was to smash up the confectionary version of one of Colchester's most famous landmarks and share it out.
Every year Minerva boss Alan Edwards raffles off a chocolate sculpture resembling a local landmark.
The money was presented to the Royal British Legion at the Town Hall last night (Monday).
