Young Canvey goalkeeper Glen Johnson, who is a pupil at Benfleet's Appleton School, has been called up by Essex under-15's.
Johnson, who is in year ten, plays for Canvey Island under-16s and last year enjoyed a successful season as a member of the County under-14 side.
