Good things come in twos!

A second contender for the world's longest legs title has emerged from Heybridge.

Lisa Hall was the first to bid for the world record when she revealed last month she had 49 inch pins.

But now there's some new legs on the block.

Beth Farrow, 18, of Crescent Road, who lives less than a mile away from Lisa, has measured up with exactly the same length of limbs.

After boyfriend Richard saw neighbour Lisa in the national press, they realised Beth's legs were just as long. "I am really shocked by it all but would like to get in to modelling through this," she said.

Lisa, of Redshank Drive, is happy for the agricultural student, who rides at the same stable as her sister. "I'm actually surprised more people haven't come out with even longer legs," she said. The longest legs are now thought to belong to Lynne Ellis, of Gillingham in Kent, who measures 51 inches from heel to hip.
