Sporting memorabilia from all over the country has been sent to the aid of a school in Dovercourt.
The goods will be going under the hammer at an auction at St Joseph's Primary School, in The Drive, as part of the fifth annual charity auction to top up school funds.
In the past, the sale has always included one or two items of famous sporting memorabilia.
But this year organisers have decided to concentrate on a 100 per cent sporting selection to raise interest.
Signed football strips from Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Colchester and Tottenham are going up for sale next to a cricket bat signed by the Essex county first team and dozens of other goods.
