Colchester United let a two goal advantage slide to earn just a point on their travels to Bournemouth.

Recent signing Scott McGleish delighted the travelling supporters by opening his account for the U's on 22 minutes putting away a rebound.

The Essex side added to their goal tally on 28 minutes with a goal from Micky Stockwell.

But in the second half the Cherries drew the scores level with a penalty from Richard Hughes and another goal from Carl Fletcher to ensure the home side salvaged a point.

Ipswich Town had a weekend to forget conceding an own goal and having Marcus Stewart sent off.

Leeds Robbie Keane just can't help scoring and Saturday was no exception with the former Inter Milan striker taking his sixth goal in seven games.

Mark Venus gave the visitors to Portman Road a helping hand by diverting Leeds opener into the back of his own net to open the scores on 28 minutes.

Venus atoned for his earlier error by getting a goal back for Ipswich in the second half, but it was not enough.

Stewart was sent off shortly after the Venus goal completing a miserable afternoon for Town.
