Llydia Bannocks, deputy manager at the Colour Studio at Headlines, the Billericay hair salon, has been presented with a L'Oreal Colour Specialist Degree - one of only twenty to be presented across the UK.
She is the third one in the Headlines team - her manager Zoe Brown was one of the first to complete the course, and Wickford Headlines manager Tracey Seymour has also done it.
She says the popularity of hair colour is growing and there are many new techniques and products which offer clients a variety of looks to suit lifestyles.
"The whole team have already benefited from the ideas of all three of us have learned on the degree course, and this means the level of service we can offer in the field of colour has never been better," she added.
