Six-time world snooker champion Steve Davis will be baring his soul on radio now Phoenix FM is back on the airwaves.

Steve, who lives in Stondon Massey, hosts a twice-weekly show of soul sounds on the station, on 87.7FM. The 43-year-old snooker star has spent hours searching the internet unearthing soul music rarities for his Interesting Soul Show.

"My Interesting Soul Show will really be music from the sixties and seventies for fellow soul anoraks," said Steve, who has been involved with previous Phoenix broadcasts.

Phoenix began its fifth broadcast on a restricted service licence last week, for the whole of the month of February.

The Interesting Soul Show goes out on Tuesdays from 9pm to midnight and on Saturdays from 1 to 4pm.
