Police are looking for a cyclist who attacked a young mum in Braintree.
The attack happened yesterday (Tuesday) at 11.45am when the 21-year-old mum was robbed by a teenage cyclist, who made off with about £70.
She had just collected the money from a post office and was walking along a passageway near to Masefield Road, with her two-year-old child and her own mother.
A police spokesman said: "The cyclist then used his forearm on the mother and snatched the young mum's purse."
The teenager was riding a yellow mountain bike and is described as white, about 5ft 4ins tall with blond hair.
He was wearing a black jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side and black trainers.
