A truck and its cargo worth nearly £70,000 were stolen from a Basildon industrial estate.
The white Mercedes lorry, registration M405 EPV, was driven from the Basildon Business Centre in Bentalls Road with its cargo of tiles, light meters and volt meters in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A Ford Cabriolet stolen from Westcliff at the start of January turned up in Wickford - a month later.
The car was taken on January 3, and was found in Langham Close on Saturday. It had been partially stripped.
