A second man has been charged with murder after the discovery of a man's body in a cupboard.
Steven Sullivan, 39, of Byng Close, Thorpe, who faced a charge of concealing the body of Justin Chant, has been charged with his murder.
The charges follow the discovery of a body in a council flat in Byng Close, Thorpe, last November.
Lee Smith, 21, of Seymour Road, Clacton, has also been charged with the murder between October 1 and November 20, and with burying, concealing and disposing of a body.
Mikala Wrenn, 20, of Churchill Court, Parkeston Road, Dovercourt, also faces a charge of concealment.
Wrenn and Smith are due to appear before Colchester magistrates again on February 27.
