Another wet Saturday resulted in only seven matches going ahead out of the 37 scheduled, and there was a complete wipeout of the Premier Division programme.
DIVISION ONE
Marconi Reserves recorded their first victory of the season, with a 2-1 success at Outwood Common Reserves .
The visitors led 1-0 at half-time, with a goal from Alan Curtis, and they increased their advantage when George Opoku netted.
Martin Coughlin pulled a goal back late on and Marconi were thankful to their goalkeeper Mark Harrington, who had a fine match, as they returned home with maximum points.
DIVISION TWO CUP SECOND ROUND
Ravens Reserves progressed to the semi-finals after comfortably beating Braintree & Bocking United Reserves 5-1.
Ravens led 3-1 at the changeover and added two more goals to run out easy winners.
Steve Butler netted Braintree's consolation goal, while for the Ravens, Richard Logan scored four goal and Nick Hoffman one.
DIVISION TWO
BlackwaterRoyals moved into third place following their 5-0 home win over Latchingdon .
Grant Lunn and Phil Turner goals gave Royals a 2-0 half-time lead and second half strikes by Graham Wey and Barry Winch were added to by an own goal to complete the rout.
DIVISION THREE
Hannakins Farm Reserves stay second after their 4-1 home win over Benfleet Amateurs .
The teams were level 1-1 at the break but the home team scored three goals in the second half. Paul Chapman (2) and Roy Gilbey (2) scored for Hannakins while Jamie Keen replied for Benfleet.
DIVISION FOUR
Whalebone Sports went down 5-2 at home to Shenfield Association who, with the win, moved to the top of the table.
It was 1-1 at the interval but the visitors proved to be too strong in the second-half. Cornwell and Smith netted the Whalebone goals.
DIVISION FIVE CUP SECOND ROUND
OLD Chelmsfordians 'A' thrashed hosts Stock 9-1 after leading 3-0 at the break. Stock's only reward came via Brett Schulvers' goal.
