Police have issued a warning against a hoax letter, which is being circulated around Havering.
The letter, which has been received by a number of schools and individuals, claims there are stick on tattoos in circulation, which have been impregnated with LSD. It also says some of the tattoos are of Disney characters.
However, Havering Police are reassuring parents that the letter is a hoax and although LSD can be absorbed through the skin, no tattoos of this nature have been discovered.
It is believed the letters have originated from America and have not been seen in the borough for about five years.
