Wimbledon has ended in disappointment for Basildon's Helen Crook after she and partner Victoria Davies lost in straight sets in the first round.
Crook and Davies were on Court 19 on Wednesday facing tenth seeds Alexandra Fusai and Rita Grande.
Helen and Victoria, who are currently ranked as second highest ladies doubles pairing in Britain, lost 6-2, 6-2.
