Teenager Jenny Smith is jumping for joy after becoming the youngest trampoline coach in the country.
But at 17, she is still too young to use her qualification and take her own classes. To do that she must wait another five months until she is 18.
Jenny, a sixth-former at Clacton County High School, lends a helping hand with younger pupils and is also an assistant at Clacton Gym Club three nights a week.
She now helps chief coach Brenda McKee, who has been running the club since it started in January 1978, and runs classes three nights a week for scores of youngsters.
Jenny has been a gymnast since she was a toddler and her interest in trampolining took shape when she was taking her GCSE in PE.
