Emily Tindell's brave all-round display failed to save Westcliff from defeat when NE Essex hit the winning runs with five balls to spare.
Tindell, not normally renowned for her batting skills, blasted 41 when Westcliff batted and added 4-11 from six overs in NE Essex's reply. Lisa Hawkins also scored 21 for Westcliff.
